Part of the Chasing Memories in Calabria series
Visiting my mother's home country after eighteen years, Mum and I reminisce. The same buildings pouring out our memories back to us, replaying games and laughter and summer romances. The winding journey up the mountains to the village of Scigliano, with green leaves and trees welcoming us along the familiar route that Dad used to drive us in our motorcaravan. The piazza where my brother was arcade mad, and Nona's house where we'd watch the stars.
